Vandre West, Maharashtra Assembly Election Results 2024 Highlights: The results of the 2024 Maharashtra Assembly elections were declared on November 23 (Saturday). Mahayuti has a lot in the assembly elections. While Mahavikas Aghadi (MVA) lagged far behind. Mahayuti seems to be winning more than 225 seats. Ashish Shelar defeated his nearest rival Asif Ahmed Zakaria of Congress by 19,931 votes. Ashish got 82780 votes. While Asif Ahmed got 62,849 votes. Ashish Shelar has become MLA from this post for the third consecutive time. In the 2019 Maharashtra Assembly elections, he defeated Asif Ahmed Zakaria by a margin of 26,507 votes.

Ashish Shelar is the president of the Mumbai BJP. Ashish, 52, has a deep connection with sports. Ashish is the current treasurer of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). In October 2022, he was elected Treasurer of the BCCI. Ashish Shelar has also played an important role in the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA). In June 2015, Ashish was elected vice-president of the Mumbai Cricket Association. Ashish was then elected as the President of the Mumbai Cricket Association on 12 January 2017.

Ashish Shelar obtained his BSC degree from Parle College in the year 1992. After this he joined GJ from Mumbai University. He graduated in law from Advani Law College. He is originally from Sindhudurg district of Konkan. As a child, he moved to Bandra West with his parents. He joined Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) during his school days.

Voting for 288 seats in the 2024 Maharashtra Assembly elections was held on November 20 (Wednesday). The Mahayuti alliance includes Eknash Shinde’s Shiv Sena and Ajit Pawar’s NCP along with the Bharatiya Janata Party. At the same time, the Mahavikas Aghadi alliance includes Uddhav Thackeray’s Shiv Sena, Sharad Pawar’s NCP and Congress. Now, after the election results, the Mahayuti government will be formed once again in Maharashtra.
