No relief for air pollution even after implementing Grape-4 restrictions
The AQI crossed 400 again

This problem persists not only for the people of Delhi but also for the people of NCR. After getting some relief last day, the AQI crossed 400 again and is likely to stay there. There is a layer of smoke and fog everywhere. What has been happening for 20 days. Due to this, on one hand people face health problems like difficulty in breathing, eye irritation, etc., on the other hand, drivers also face problems due to reduced visibility.
It is likely to continue like this in the coming days as well.
On the other hand, the AQI was recorded above 400 in most parts of Delhi. According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), the amount of pollution in the air has become very high and is likely to remain the same in the coming days. According to CPCB, if there is no rain or any other natural activity soon, the situation in Delhi and NCR will worsen in the coming days. According to CPCB, the air quality is in severe category in 18 areas including Wazirpur, Jahangirpuri and Anand Vihar. This is the situation when the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAPE) is implemented across Delhi-NCR. But this doesn’t seem to have any effect either.

These factors are responsible for pollution.
According to IITM, the proportion of pollution caused by air transport was 16.423 percent, the proportion of pollution caused by garbage burning was 1.469 percent. While on Friday the proportion of stubble smoke was 17.9 percent. The mixing depth was 1500 meters. At the same time, the ventilation rate was 3,000 cubic meters per second. The 24-hour ventilation rate is estimated at 11,200 cubic meters per second. On the other hand, these areas of Delhi were the most polluted: Wazirpur 450, Jahangirpuri 439, Ashok Vihar 438, Anand Vihar 437, Mundka 433, Dwarka Sector 8 428, Chandni Chowk 416 AQI.
