New Delhi. The series of threats to bomb planes does not stop. Another case is that of Vistara Airline, in which a bomb threat was received on an aircraft. Subsequently, the plane made an emergency landing. The plane was sent towards Jaipur airport. Flight 829 from Delhi to Hyderabad has been diverted to Jaipur. Vistara airline reported the threat via Twitter and wrote that flight 829 from Delhi to Hyderabad had been diverted to Jaipur.
Let us tell you that in the last 11 days, around 250 Indian airline flights have received bomb threats. This week, Civil Aviation Minister K Rammohan Naidu said the government was planning to take legislative measures to address the bomb threat to airlines.
The government is taking fake bomb threat messages and phone calls seriously. The government has begun to identify those who threaten. According to sources, the government termed these cases as public interest and also appealed to major multinational technology companies to cooperate in identifying the people behind such fake calls.
The central government doubled the number of air agents on the October 16 flights. The Minister of the Interior has requested a report from the Ministry of Aviation on false threats. Additionally, a meeting was held on October 9 with the CEOs of all airlines, discussing how to address false threats. Apart from this, inconvenience to passengers and losses to airlines were also discussed. On October 19, the Center removed TMC chief Vikram Dev Dutt from office and appointed him as secretary in the coal ministry. 2 people were arrested in Mumbai and Kochi. Mumbai Police arrested one person.
Apart from this, a minor was arrested in Rajnandgaon, Chhattisgarh. Both had threatened to bomb the Indigo flight. On Monday, a passenger was arrested at Kochi airport in Kerala on charges of making a bomb threat.
