Kuldeep Bishnoi did not appear in any BJP programme. At the same time, the BJP has also reduced the importance given to Kuldeep Bishnoi. The party does not even send him invitations to programs. The BJP had appointed Kuldeep Bishnoi as coordinator of the management committee in the assembly elections. But Kuldeep Bishnoi, who claimed victory in many seats including Adampur and Fatehabad, remained limited to only Adampur and Nalwa. Kuldeep Bishnoi’s sons lost their fort Adampur.
Due to his daughter’s defeat, Kuldeep Bishnoi’s stature in the BJP diminished. Due to his declining importance in the BJP, Kuldeep Bishnoi has started moving away from the party. At the same time, the BJP, which came to power with an absolute majority, does not give much importance to Kuldeep Bishnoi. Kuldeep Bishnoi was also not given a place in the appointments made in connection with the membership drive. Somewhere, even the BJP is distancing itself from Kuldeep Bishnoi.
Claim expressed over Rajya Sabha seat
After his son’s defeat in the assembly elections, Kuldeep Bishnoi also claimed the Rajya Sabha seat. Kuldeep met central leaders, including the Bishnoi family, in Delhi. But the BJP state president who came to Hisar clearly said that he whose name is mentioned in the media, his claim is automatically weakened. Kuldeep Bishnoi understood from this statement of Badoli that even going to Rajya Sabha is difficult.
Discussion on joining Congress
There is talk in political circles that the Bishnoi family is in touch with the anti-Huda camp in Congress. His elder brother Chandramohan Bishnoi is a Congress member from Panchkula and is also close to MP Kumari Selja. In such a situation, after the Congress’s defeat in Haryana, there are discussions whether Kuldeep could fit in Kiran’s vacant place in the Selja group. When Kumari Selja was recently asked about this in Bhiwani, she said she had no information about Kuldeep Bishnoi joining the Congress.
