Currently, the state government is exclusively focusing on village development and there will be no shortage of funds for development works. This is the case of Harchand Singh Barsat, general secretary of the Punjab Aam Aadmi Party and president of the board of directors of Punjab Mandi, who had come to his office to meet the members of the Paharpur village Panchayat.
Today, Sarpanch, Panch and key members of Paharpur village and other gram panchayats met Harchand Singh Barsat at the office located in Patiala and discussed the village problems in detail. On this occasion, Sarpanch of Paharpur village Jagdeep Singh said that the condition of the road from Sultanpur to Paharpur was very bad due to which the villagers were facing a lot of problems. Barsat solved this problem, for which the villagers are grateful to him.

Punjab lives in villages
The AAP state general secretary said Punjab lives in villages. That is why it is very important to change the face of the people. He said the Gram Panchayats should rise above politics and adopt new ideas, involve everyone and carry out development work in the villages, so that the villages can be fully developed.
He said that under the leadership of Hon’ble Chief Minister of Punjab Bhagwant Singh Mann, all emphasis is being laid on health, education, employment and public welfare works in the state. Barsat said the Punjab government will not allow any disappointment in the development of villages. He assured that he will always be with them and provide them with all kinds of support and there will also be funds available from the Punjab government for development works.
