Lucknow- The battle for the by-elections in Uttar Pradesh is over. The BJP alliance won 7 seats, while the Samajwadi Party was limited to just 2 seats. The BSP, which never participated in the by-elections, also fielded its candidates for 9 seats in these by-elections, but the results were disappointing. The BSP has suffered huge losses.
And this time the BSP has suffered a huge loss in the by-elections. The BSP got much less votes than before, a total of 1.51 lakh votes were polled in the by-elections for 9 seats. In 2022, more votes were won in these seats. . More than 3.5 lakh votes were received in these seats and BSP deposits were lost in most of the seats. Candidates from Phulpur and Kathari managed to get some votes.
In this series, Mayawati held a press conference in Lucknow and expressed her views on many issues. We have seen all this in the recently held by-elections in Uttar Pradesh. Many voices are being raised in this regard even in the general elections held in the state assembly of Maharashtra. This is also a big warning sign for our country and democracy. In such a situation, our party has now decided that unless the Election Commission of the country takes strict measures to stop the casting of fake votes in the country, our party will not participate in any by-election in the country… Our Party We will fight the Lok Sabha and state assembly and local body elections in the country with full preparedness and strength.”
