IED blast in Sukma, (Aaj Samaj), Raipur: In Sukma district of Chhattisgarh Today An improvised explosive device explosion occurred, in which a District Reserve Guard (DRG) soldier was injured. Officials said the IED blast took place between Raigudem and Tumalpad areas of the district. Police said INSAS, AK-47, SLR and many other weapons were recovered during the search operation.

Naxalites to be eliminated from Chhattisgarh: CM
Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai praised the security forces’ operation against Naxalites. He congratulated the security forces for their bravery and dedication and said that the elimination of Naxalites from Chhattisgarh is certain. The Chief Minister said that the state government is moving forward in a planned manner towards achieving the target set by Union Home Minister Amit Shah of eliminating Naxalites from Chhattisgarh by March 2026.

Peace and security priority of the government: CM
Vishnu Dev Sai has also highlighted his government’s zero tolerance policy towards Naxalism. He also said that ensuring the development, peace and security of citizens is the top priority of his government. Let us tell you that earlier this week there was also an encounter between the District Reserve Guard and Naxalites in Sukma district and 10 Naxalites were killed in the gunfight.
