Kamal Pradhan said that Chhotu Ram was born in Garhi Sampla, a small village in Rohtak. He tried to free farmers and the working class from debt. He fought for the organization of mandis for farmers and worked for relief of many taxes. Providing property rights to farmers over their land and building many educational institutions to provide education reflects his visionary thinking. He believed that the children of poor farmers and workers could only progress if they received a good education. For this reason, such great men will always be remembered so that future generations can follow in their footsteps and give a new direction to society. Kamal Pradhan said that as the campaign to name statues and chowks of the country’s great men progresses, new statues will be installed with the help of the administration.
