Mainpuri: BJP candidate Anujesh Yadav on Friday filed his nomination for the Karhal Assembly by-election. Anujesh Yadav is the son-in-law of Mulayam Singh Yadav and brother-in-law of SP MP Dharmendra Yadav. However, Dharmendra claims that he has no relationship with his brother-in-law. SP chief Akhilesh Yadav also reacted on the electoral contest between Karhal’s uncle and nephew. Targeting the BJP, the SP chief said: How come those who were against familyism suddenly became relative today?

Akhilesh Yadav said that when the BJP feels that it is going to lose the elections, then it should do some trick or the other, give that message to which the Samajwadi Party people keep responding. I am saying with certainty that the people of Karhal will give such results not only in these elections but also in the 2027 elections that there will be a crushing defeat for the BJP. He said that Tej Pratap Yadav will win the elections from here with historic votes.
SP chief Yadav said that the BJP will be defeated due to the strategy of the Samajwadi Party and the Congress. Together, our two parties will strengthen the Indian Alliance and work together to defeat them in the elections of 2027. He said that the opposition alliance will defeat the BJP in Maharashtra.
Criticized CM Yogi
Akhilesh Yadav also responded to Chief Minister Yogi’s motto of ‘If you cut, you will divide’. He said that this slogan is prepared in the laboratory of BJP people. Now we will have to know where the laboratory is where such slogans are made. The BJP has also looked into which slogan will look best and has asked the Chief Minister to do so.
Regarding the Bahraich incident, Akhilesh Yadav said that the BJP people wanted to convert Hindus into Muslims. What position has the Bharatiya Janata Party reached? He had to file an FIR against his own worker. Akhilesh Yadav said that destruction is visible on the face of the BJP and if you look at his hands, you will see destructive lines on his hands. It cannot develop, it can destroy.
