The lives of 18 schoolchildren narrowly escaped on Friday morning in Amroha district of Uttar Pradesh. A small fight between the driver cost the children their lives. The children screamed and shouted inside the truck to save their lives, while four criminals threw stones and shot at the truck. During the investigation, police arrested one accused youth, while the search for three others continues. When SP Kunwar Anupam Singh revealed the matter, it was revealed that the fight between the van driver and the youth had threatened the lives of the children.
The matter is in the Gajraula police station area. There is SRS International School in the police station area itself. On Friday morning, Monty, the school van driver, had gone to pick up the children. 18 children up to the fourth grade were traveling in the van. When he was returning with the children, he met four young men near a culvert on the road. One of these young men was sitting on a bicycle, while three young men were placing stones in the sewer. When the driver Monty asked the young man to remove the stones, the young man who was riding a bicycle suddenly shot at his truck. After this, three other young men threw stones.
The children began to cry after seeing the shooting.
The driver Monty immediately put the car in reverse and somehow made it to the school avoiding the young man. Seeing this whole scene on the road, the children in the van started crying and shouting, please save, please save. Upon arriving at school, upon hearing the children crying, all the teachers and the principal came out and took information about the incident. The driver Monty told the whole story to the director.

SP Kunwar Anupam Singh revealed the matter
The principal immediately informed the Gajraula police station about the incident. Upon receiving the information, the police station in charge reached the spot with the police team. As soon as information was received about the shooting at the school van, SP Kunwar Anupam Singh also reached the spot. During the police interrogation, the driver Monty initially denied having had any kind of dispute with the young man, but later told the whole truth to the police.
The driver had a confrontation with the young man four days ago
SP Kunwar Anupam Singh said a scooter had collided with a school van four days ago. During this time, there was an argument between the young man driving the scooter and the driver Monty. At this time, the people present there had resolved the dispute between them, but the young man driving the scooter was bent on revenge. SP Kunwar Anupam Singh said that on Friday morning, a youth riding a scooter, along with three of his companions, fired shots and pelted stones at the school van.

Police arrested a young man accused
The shot occurred in the side door of the driver’s seat, so the children narrowly escaped. The driver Monty also showed wisdom and immediately took the car to the school to save himself. The driver Monty identified one of the accused young people. The accused youth is Anuj Singh, son of Pehalwan Singh, a resident of Nagla. The police have registered a case in the case of driver Monty’s complaint. One accused has been arrested.
