- CJM provided legal information to safe house couples
(Bhiwani News) Bhiwani. As per the directions of District and Session Judge and Chairman of District Legal Services Authority DR Chalia, CJM and Secretary of the Authority, Pawan Kumar, carried out a surprise inspection of the safe house located on the premises of the Police Line. The main objective of this inspection was to evaluate the condition of the couples living in the safe house and the services available to them.
Provided detailed information about the legal services provided by the authority.
During the inspection, Authority Secretary Pawan Kumar took stock of the cleanliness of the safe house, living conditions, availability of drinking water and the condition of the restaurant. He noted that the basic facilities of the safe house are being maintained, but some areas require improvement. He said the couples living in the safe house were given detailed information about the legal services provided by the authority. He reported that through this authority legal advice, protection and other necessary services are provided to couples.
During the inspection, the safe house manager was given the necessary guidelines in view of the winter season. He said health screening of all visitors should be ensured and nutritious food provided to them. Due attention should also be paid to safety so that couples do not face any problems. He said the role of safe house staff members was also discussed during the inspection.
Some plans to improve the facilities were discussed.
He told staff they should be sensitive to couples and address their needs. We discussed some plans to improve the safe house facilities in the future. He ensured that all concerned officials and staff sincerely discharged their responsibilities for the welfare of the couples. This type of inspection will help provide a safe and healthy environment for the couples living in the safe house.
During the inspection he spoke to a few couples, who shared their views on their situation and the facilities available at the safe house. Many couples appreciated the authority’s services and said they felt safe staying here. Safe House staff and concerned officials were present on this occasion.
