A heartbreaking incident has come to light in Barwani district of Madhya Pradesh. After a fight with his wife, the husband attacked his three-year-old daughter and five-year-old son with an ax, killing them. The police gave this information on Saturday.
After killing the children, he wounded his wife.
The police officer said that in this incident which took place in Chichamali Falia village of Barla police station area, the accused injured his wife. He tried to hurt himself too. Barla police station in-charge Saurabh Batham said the accused Sanjay Singh is a resident of Gunwariya village of Jalgaon district of the neighboring state of Maharashtra.
Wife came home to her parents after a fight
Police said Sanjay Singh’s wife Bharti had reached her maternal house in Chichamali Faliya a week ago after a fight with him. The accused arrived at his house on Saturday and then a fight broke out between the two. He attacked his wife and two children with an ax and also injured himself.
The wife is admitted to the hospital and is receiving treatment.
Police said both children died in the attack, while the accused is receiving treatment at the Sendhwa Community Centre. Meanwhile, his wife’s condition is critical. He has been shifted to Maharashtra for treatment.
