Ayodhya. A one-day seminar on the topic “Multidisciplinary Employment Opportunities in Indian Economy” was organized under the joint auspices of Economics, Department of Rural Development and Department of Fine Arts. Professor Jagdish Narayan, former head of the department and dean, Faculty of Commerce, Allahabad Central University, Prayagraj, was the chief guest of the programme. Chaired by Prof. Ashutosh Singha he did so.
As a special speaker, Dr. Srishti Purvardha from Allahabad University said that along with the subject of economics, other subjects, mainly including various disciplines of fine arts and fashion designing, through this we can find employment opportunities for ourselves themselves in the Indian economy. . He said high levels of income and employment can be achieved through the manufacturing of attractive and artistic handmade items by MSMEs, further increasing the importance of the economy for the commercialization of the artistic genre.
As the chief guest, Professor Jagdish Narayan said that economics plays an important role in various types of contextual textual arts. What should be the fair value of any artist’s work after its creation, we obtain through an economic cost-benefit analysis. Employment opportunities in painting, sculpture and applied arts related to fine arts are increasing. For which the analysis of economic parameters is necessary. An artist does not realize the real value of his own work; In this era of commodification, an economist can be helpful in determining the price of the item in question in the field in question.
Professor Ashutosh Sinha, who chaired the programme, while highlighting employment opportunities in various sources of support to the Indian economy, said that every creation of artistic goods in all sectors of the economy increases employment opportunities.
At the one-day seminar sponsored by Uttarakhand Economic Association of Uttar Pradesh, Prof. Vinod Kumar Srivastava, General Secretary, UPUEA, while welcoming the guests as coordinator, said that under the skill development scheme with the concept of a self-reliant India, various types Skills based on fine arts and crafts are being developed. Small and medium local design artifacts are definitely increasing the level of employment and income among the people. What is needed is to provide stability through useful government policy.
Dr Sarita Dwivedi, Associate Professor, Department of Fine Arts, said that along with the construction of the Ram Temple, local artists are getting ample employment opportunities due to the creation of various artefacts. It is necessary to educate and train the artist to provide them with information on the economic aspects of the artworks created so that they can obtain market value.
