AajTak Literature 2024: The night was filled with ghazals on the last day of Sahitya Aaj Tak 2024 held at the Major Dhyan Chand Stadium in Delhi. It was the occasion of Shaam-e-Ghazal. When Sudip Banerjee forced everyone to hum with his voice. Many more sessions were organized before this.

A unique confluence of melody, words, literature, art and music was seen in Sahitya Aaj Tak. There were also discussions on how literature and culture can be further enriched using technology and how ancient heritages can be preserved.

Some writers and scholars also narrated untold stories and tales that we would never have known about till date. This caravan, which has been circulating for two days, stopped at Sham-e-Ghazal on Sunday afternoon. Here, the country’s well-known ghazal writer Sudeep Verma lent his voice to ghazals ranging from Ghalib to Bashir Badr.

The names of the ghazals were on the last night of Sahitya Aaj Tak 2024.
Sudip Banerjee is a famous Indian ghazal singer. He comes from a very famous family of Allahabad. Sudeep did his schooling and college in Delhi and turned to ghazals at a very young age.

Ghazal singer Sudeep is a household name.
Sudeep has also composed music for two feature films called With Love Tumhara and Chaucer. Sudeep has traveled to different cities in India for his concerts. He has also done numerous programs outside the country. He is the only singer in India who releases ghazals continuously every year.

Shaam-e-Ghazal began with Ghalib’s couplet.
Sudeep started the Sham-e-Ghazal with a Ghalib couplet. He said that today afternoon I will start with Ghalib. He also said two words about Delhi: ‘Take care of your turban, Mir. This is Delhi’After this he presented this ghazal.
