The Congress has now targeted the state’s Yogi government over the violence in Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh. The Congress has described the violence as a side effect of a well-planned conspiracy by CM Yogi as well as the BJP and RSS. The party said that we say with full responsibility that it was the Adityanath administration that took the lives of the deceased. In this whole matter, the BJP neither wants to conduct a poll nor does it want to stop it.
Congress party leader and head of Media and Publicity (Communication Department) of AICC, Pawan Khera, has said that no citizen of Uttar Pradesh is safe under the government of Yogi Adityanath, who uttered the condemnable slogan “If you divide, You will be divided.” Today this is evident from the very sensitive and serious incidents that occurred in Sambhal. The videos that have emerged of direct firing on protesters in Sambhal are the result of a well-planned conspiracy.
He further said that in western Uttar Pradesh, which has been a symbol of goodwill and harmony for years, three people were killed and many injured due to a conspiracy. We say with full responsibility that the Adityanath administration has taken the lives of the deceased and that only the BJP-RSS is responsible for setting fire to the brotherhood in Sambhal.
Preparations were already in place to spoil the atmosphere, Kheda said.
Kheda said the Modi-Yogi government, which treats the minority community as second-class citizens, hastily filed the petition in the court. Everyone knows that the administration was fully out to somehow spoil the atmosphere of Uttar Pradesh through prudence and caution. Earlier, during the communal violence in Bahraich, the city was handed over to riotous elements.
The Congress leader said that in this entire matter, the BJP did not want the poll to take place or stop it, its aim was only to end the brotherhood. Not taking any action against the rebel elements accompanying the survey team makes it clear that after the by-elections in the state, the Yogi government has further intensified the politics of violence and hatred. Questions are being raised about the role of the police and the administration because many innocent people have lost their lives in this violence and more than two dozen people have been injured.
‘Spreading hatred between brothers is in the DNA of the BJP’
Pawan Kheda said spreading hatred between brothers and setting communal fires is the DNA of the BJP-RSS, it is ingrained in its veins. On the one hand, there is the empty slogan of “if we are safe, we are safe” and on the other hand, what kind of message of unity is there to build a wall between a community that uses religion as a shield and takes lives ? of people? On one hand, the decade-long Sabka Saath-Sabka Vishwas lie; On the other hand, the continued attack on society on religious grounds in Uttar Pradesh is simply trivial and cheap politics.
Sambhal incident is highly objectionable
He said that the BJP government in Uttar Pradesh is destroying mutual brotherhood and harmony for political gains, which is highly condemnable and highly objectionable. We appeal to the BJP to prioritize the national interest and not its political interests.
