Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai will be seen visiting many areas of the state by train. He started this initiative by traveling by Amarkantak Express from Raipur to Bilaspur. On Sunday afternoon, the Chief Minister reached the railway station without much fanfare and traveled in the train along with common passengers. During this he spoke with the passengers.
The Chief Minister stated that traveling by train is not new to him. While he was an MP and deputy, he has traveled by train many times. He said that the joy of traveling by train is different because it helps you meet new people and you feel like you are traveling with a big family. Chief Minister Sai shared his experience of eating peanuts during the train journey and also conveyed the message of cleanliness to the passengers. He said that the train is our public good and it is everyone’s responsibility to take care of its cleanliness.

While talking to passengers, the Chief Minister spoke about the reforms carried out in the railways under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said the facilities for railway passengers have continually improved. Railway infrastructure is also developing rapidly in Chhattisgarh, due to which the state is reaping many benefits. He also asked about the facilities for passengers on the Railways.

Passengers at the station expressed their joy at suddenly finding the Chief Minister among them and extended a warm welcome to him.
