Mumbai: In Maharashtra, a legislative party meeting of Mahayuti’s constituent Shiv Sena (Shinde) was held in which Chief Minister Eknath Shinde was elected legislative party leader of the party. The resolution regarding Shinde’s election as leader of the Shiv Sena legislative party was unanimously passed by the 57 newly elected MLAs at a meeting held at a hotel in Mumbai. Three other resolutions were also passed, praising Shinde for leading the party to a landslide victory, thanking Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah for their support, and thanking the people of Maharashtra for depositing their faith in the Mahayuti alliance. .
