PTI workers protesting in Pakistan
Workers of former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan’s Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party protested across the country on Sunday. During this, violent clashes also took place between PTI workers and police officers. The PTI workers were adamant about marching towards Islamabad. Meanwhile, in view of the current tense situation, the Islamabad district administration has decided to close all educational institutions in the capital tomorrow i.e. Monday.
Islamabad has been completely sealed due to the protest of PTI workers. At the same time, Internet services are paralyzed in many parts of the country. At the same time, the Islamabad district administration on Monday announced the closure of schools and colleges in the capital. A formal notification in this regard is expected to be issued soon.
Schools and colleges closed due to protests
The closure of schools, colleges and universities in Islamabad will be confirmed by issuing a formal notification. This decision was made as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of students and staff amid the ongoing unrest. Meanwhile, tension has risen in Punjab and the capital Islamabad due to protests by PTI workers.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) workers clashed with police officers during protests in several cities. Many protesters have also been arrested during this violent confrontation. PTI workers pelted stones at policemen in Faizabad while trying to enter Islamabad.
However, the PTI protesters failed to achieve their objectives due to the already heavy police deployment in Islamabad. After which there was a clash between them and the police and a stone-pelting incident came to light. The police have said that no miscreant will be able to take the law into their own hands. Action will be taken against wrongdoers according to law.
Islamabad converted into cantonment
At the same time, the convoy of PTI workers that reached the M-1 highway from Ghazi in Attock started pelting stones in front of the police. PTI workers also started a fire on the highway after authorities warned against such actions. At the same time, police arrested PTI leaders who were marching towards Islamabad. Police have arrested 16 people from Faizabad, Islamabad.

At the same time, tear gas shells and batons were fired at PTI workers amid ongoing protests in many places. At the same time, the police managed to prevent the protesters from entering Islamabad. Before the protests, Islamabad became a cantonment. Section 144 has been imposed in the province of Punjab along with Islamabad. Mobile Internet services are closed. This PTI protest was held in support of Prime Minister Imran Khan and the recent constitutional amendment.
