Due to air pollution, Noida DM has ordered to extend online classes for children from nursery to class 12 in Noida and Greater Noida till November 25 i.e. Monday; During this period, offline access will remain closed and schools will operate in online mode only. Noida DM had earlier issued orders that all classes would be held online till November 23. Further decisions will be made after analyzing the situation after November 23.
The order issued by District Inspector of Schools (DIOS) Dharamveer Singh said that Delhi-NCR’s air quality index (AQI) had reached the very severe category, making offline classes from preschool to class 12 had to be closed. In this regard, the Noida DM had issued orders on November 18. As per the order, all schools in Gautam Buddha Nagar will function in online mode till November 25.
Let us tell you that last week i.e. November 18, the Delhi government ordered to conduct classes 10 and 12 in online mode amid rising pollution levels.
