Second phase of ‘Operation Prahar’ launched in Noida
Under the leadership of Gautam Buddha Nagar Police Commissioner Laxmi Singh, Gautam Buddha Nagar Police launched ‘Operation Prahar 2nd Phase’ on October 24 with an aim to save children and young generation from drug addiction. More than 100 teams, under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner of Police Noida Rambadan Singh, Deputy Commissioner of Central Police Noida Shakti Mohan Awasthi and Deputy Commissioner of Police Greater Noida Saad Mian Khan, across the three Gautam Buddha Nagar Commissionerate zones, are They gathered in more than 700 places and around schools/universities in which 500 police officers, civil police, 05 PAC platoons, 27 Anti Romeo teams, SWAT team, Commando and Anti Narcotics team participated, with the help of all said teams, “Operation Prahar.” The Second Phase against drugs was carried out.
Strict measures against drug trafficking in Gautam Buddha Nagar
Gautam Budh Nagar Police Commissioner informed that these teams were deployed after a confidential investigation based on information received in the last few days. The teams of the three zones were briefed by the deputy commissioner of police of Noida, Central Noida and Greater Noida. In all three areas, searches were carried out in main locations, crowded places, schools/universities, around businesses and shops, salons and temporary shops, medicine suppliers, dealers and street vendors. Under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner of Police, Noida Rambadan Singh, a total of 100 people were arrested during a check drive by police teams in Harola, Baraula, Sadarpur, Parthala, Sarfabad, Atta, Sector-62, Sector-12 , School. 34 accused were arrested from the university, market and around the metro station in Noida area. 26 kg of illegal marijuana, packets of heroin, e-cigarettes and rolling papers have been recovered from the possession of the accused.

Under the supervision of Central Noida Deputy Commissioner of Police Shakti Mohan Awasthi, a total of 17 accused were arrested during a check drive by police teams in Central Noida area around Chhijarasi, Bahlolpur, Bhangel, Kulesara, Haldwani, Roza Jalalpur, School, College, Market and Metro Station to do. 13.73 kg of illegal marijuana, packets of heroin, e-cigarettes and rolling papers have been recovered from the possession of the accused.
Details of measures taken in Greater Noida
Under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner of Police, Greater Noida, Saad Mia Khan, Police in Greater Noida area around Knowledge Park, Aichhar, Kasba Kasna, Kasba Vilaspur, Kasba Rabupura, Kasba Jewar, Kasba Jarcha, Kasba Dadri, School, College , market and subway station A total of 24 accused were arrested during the equipment control operations. 24.15 kg of illegal marijuana, packets of heroin, e-cigarettes and rolling papers have been recovered from the possession of the accused.
Details of action on drugs in Gautam Buddha Nagar
Action was taken against a total of 75 accused in Gautam Budh Nagar Commissionerate and around 64 kg of illegal ganja and a large quantity of packets of heroin, e-cigarettes, 100 pipes and rolling papers were recovered. During the process itself, 03 people were arrested for selling drugs online. Noida police cracked down on drug peddlers under Operation Prahar. Police raided 700 locations and arrested 75 people. 64 kg of ganja and other narcotics have been recovered from his possession.
