Jind News: CRPF officer donated to martyr’s daughter

A contingent of CRPF soldiers also reached Jind’s Chhatar village to perform all the wedding rituals.
News from Jind (Aaj Samaj) Jind: Kanyadaan is said to be the largest donation. To prove this to be true, a group of CRPF soldiers took a unique initiative. The wedding of CRPF martyr Jawan Satish’s daughter was held in Jind’s Chhatar village. To ensure that the daughter does not miss her father, a contingent of CRPF personnel reached Chhatar village. The wedding was on Saturday. When the wedding procession of Satish’s daughter reached the village, CRPF soldiers welcomed it on behalf of the girl’s family. Not only this, a CRPF officer, doing his father’s duty, also performed Kanyadaan. The CRPF officers performed with their own hands all the rituals performed for the father and sister of the martyr’s daughter at the wedding.

In this, he did everything from performing the rituals before taking the pheras to making his sister and daughter sit on the stage of the wedding pavilion during the wedding. Among those who attended the wedding were DIG Komal Singh, Deputy Commander Vedpal and Deputy Commander Krishna Kumar and jawans of Group Center Sonipat. DIG Komal Singh said Group Center Sonipat will be ready to play all the roles of father to CRPF daughter. He will not allow tears to come to his daughters’ eyes on this happy occasion.

Satish was martyred in Jammu and Kashmir in 2015.

It is noteworthy that Satish, a resident of Chhatar village of Jind, was recruited as a police constable in CRPF. In 2015 he was posted to Jammu and Kashmir. Satish was martyred during an encounter with terrorists on March 20, 2015.
