Jharkhand Mukti Morcha won 56 of 81 seats in the Jharkhand Assembly elections. After this victory, a meeting of the Bharat Block was held under the leadership of the working president, Hemant Soren, and he was elected leader of the Bharat Alliance. After this, Hemant Soren went to Raj Bhavan, met Governor Santosh Gangwar and tendered his resignation. He also submitted a letter of support from the MLAs to the governor and demanded the formation of the government. The new government of Jharkhand will be sworn in on November 28, 2024. Hemant Soren will be sworn in for the fourth time as Chief Minister.
