The domestic stock market, which is facing continued decline and huge losses, started trading with a sharp rise on Monday. The Sensex index of the Bombay Stock Exchange was trading at the level of 80,404.56 with a strong gain of 1,287.45 points at 9:32 am. Similarly, the National Stock Exchange’s (NSE) Nifty was seen trading like a rocket at the level of 24315.75 with an increase of 408.5 points.
All sectoral indices in green
At the beginning of trading, all sectoral indices are trading in green. The automobile, banking, media, telecom, oil and gas, energy and real estate sectors have seen growth of 1 to 2 percent. Shriram Finance, M&M, Bharat Electronic, Adani Enterprises and BPCL were the top Nifty gainers, while JSW Steel declined. The BSE Midcap and Smallcap indices recorded a gain of 1.5 per cent each.
