At the same time, the Uddhav faction defeated the Nath Shinde faction with 14 seats. Shiv Sena (UBT) could win only 20 seats despite fielding 95 candidates. Shinde-led Shiv Sena’s vote share was 12.38, compared to Shiv Sena’s (UBT) vote share of 9.96.

In the Maharashtra Assembly elections, Mahayuti’s BJP won 132 seats, the NCP 41 and the Shiv Sena 57 seats (total 230). At the same time, Mahavikas Aghadi’s Shiv Sena (UBT) won 20 seats, Congress 16 and NCP (Sharad Chandra Pawar) 10 (46 in total). The remaining 12 seats were won by other parties or independents.
