Delhi- Violent incidents occurred in connection with the Shahi Masjid poll in Sambhal district of Uttar Pradesh, in which five people were killed and many policemen were injured. AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi’s statement has come to light in this matter.

Asaduddin Owaisi said about the violence in Sambhal that this is not a shooting, this is a murder… Atrocities are being committed in Sambhal. Strict action should be taken against the culprits. “The Sambhal mosque is not 50-100 years old, it is more than 250-300 years old and the court passed the ex parte order without hearing the people.” Masjid, which is wrong… When the second survey was conducted, no information was given… The video of the survey which people claim is in public domain in which it is seen that the people who had come for the survey They had raised inflammatory slogans. Violence broke out and three Muslims were shot dead. We condemn it. This is not a dismissal but a murder… The officers involved should be suspended and the current High Court should conduct an investigation to determine that this is completely wrong, that atrocities are being committed there…”

Let us tell you that 5 people were killed and 20 policemen injured in the violent incident related to the Shahi Masjid poll in Sambhal district of Uttar Pradesh. After the violence, police force of 30 police stations were deployed in Sambhal Kotwali area to control the situation. The bodies have been sent for autopsy and the injured are receiving treatment at various hospitals.

To keep the situation under control in Sambhal, entry of outsiders has been banned till December 1. Internet service in the area was also shut down and suspicious people are being questioned. The police have also prohibited the arrival of social organizations and public representatives.
