Ayodhya. The foundation stone of the 500-capacity auditorium at the Ram temple complex was laid by Temple Trust president Mahant Nritya Gopal Das on Monday. Trust general secretary Champat Rai said the auditorium will have a toilet and a trust office if needed. The responsibility for the construction of which has fallen on Uttar Pradesh Government Construction Corporation.

He said that till now one has to walk barefoot for long distances to visit the temple. A permanent shoe store will be built near the police building adjacent to the wall. Where six thousand people will be able to store their shoes. Generally the devotee leaves after an hour. It can be used fifteen times.

He said that God’s Prakotsav will be celebrated permanently in the Dwadashi of Paush Shukla Paksha. The saints have decided to name Prakotsav as Pratistha Dwadashi. This time the event will be organized for three days. If necessary next time, it can be increased. He said that by October 2025 all construction on 70 acres of the temple will be completed. Which includes the temple until April, Sapta Mandir until March and the parkota until October.

He said German hangars were set up for the convenience of the pilgrims. It has been removed. The final decision has now been made to install a permanent shed and marquee there. It will be nine meters wide and more than 600 meters long. This will relieve the pilgrims from the heat and rain.
