A serious accident occurred while he was collecting a government pistol in Aligarh. Inspector Ankit Choudhary, posted in the Crime Intelligence wing, was depositing his pistol at the police line, when suddenly the pistol slipped from his hand, fell and a bullet was fired. The bullet hit the wall and hit the inspector on the left side of the waist.
