Police arrested Manveer in the murder case of farmer Ghanshyam Singh Saini in Pakbada police station area in Moradabad district of Uttar Pradesh. Police said several teams were formed to uncover the murder, in which Ghanshyam’s neighbor Manveer was found accused in the investigation. Police said the accused revealed during interrogation that he had killed Ghanshyam Singh Saini to avenge his insult. Ghanshyam was brutally murdered on the night of October 16.
According to information received from the police, the murder accused, who lives in the temple area after Pakhwada town in Moradabad district, said during interrogation that 9 years ago, Ghanshyam had insulted his niece in the panchayat on the charge of abusing her. The accused said that Ghanshyam first insulted her, accusing her of sexual abuse, then forced her to put a garland of slippers around her neck and blackened her face. In such a situation, Manveer killed Ghanshyam to take revenge for the insult that occurred 9 years ago.

During police interrogation, the accused said that he had bought a knife in Rajasthan three years ago to commit murder. He said that his intention was that if Ghanshyam came close to him, he would kill him, but for some reason this could not happen. In such a situation, he has now taken revenge by killing Ghanshyam. The accused told the police that to avenge his insult, after killing Ghanshyam, he had even cut off his nose. According to information received from the police, Manveer has been interrogated and sent to jail. Additionally, police said the accused worked as a truck driver.
