Prem Kumar, Minister of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Bihar government, inaugurated the departmental exhibition at Harihar Sonpur Fair-2024 area on Monday. On this occasion he dedicated to the people the exhibition of models of the departmental work carried out in the area of ecotourism in the state. Giving information about the departmental exhibition, the Forest Divisional Officer said that in recent years, departmental works like Tutla Bhawani Temple, Rohtasgarh Fort, Rajgir Zoo Safari, Patna Eco Park, Mandar Parvat, Bhim Dam, Vikramshila Ganga Dolphin Sanctuary, Valmiki Tiger Reserve etc. It has been given a living form.
Aranyaka substances also had a place in the exhibition of the FDA Green Development Committee of the state of Bihar. The work and achievements done by the Bihar State Pollution Control Board and the Bihar State Biodiversity Board were also showcased. The minister also interacted with farmers and Jeevika Didis benefited from the Agroforestry Scheme.

Jeevika Didis appreciated departmental jobs like nurseries and plantations. He thanked Minister Prem Kumar. Beneficiary farmers spoke about increased income thanks to agroforestry. Previously, the Minister’s Chief Regional Conservator of Forests, Dr. K, arrived to inaugurate the departmental exhibition. Ganesh Kumar welcomed the minister and other officials.
In this programme, Principal Chief Conservator of Forests Bihar PK Gupta, Additional Principal Chief Conservator of Forests Bharat Jyoti, Chairman Bihar State Biodiversity Council Arbinder Singh, Chief Wildlife Warden, Additional Principal Chief Conservator of forests AK Dwivedi, the regional chief conservator of forests, Dr K of Muzaffarpur was present. Ganesh Kumar, Alok Kumar, Divisional Forest Officer, Saran, Forest Field Officer, Dighwara Sushma Kumari and other departmental officials were present.
