“It is scandalous to make baseless accusations that ISKCON has anything to do with terrorism anywhere in the world,” ISKCON said in a post on social media platform from Bangladesh. The Indian government should tell Bangladesh that we are leading a peaceful Bhakti movement.

Outrage in Bangladesh’s Hindu community

A case was registered against 19 people, including Chinmay Das, at Kotwali police station in Chittagong on October 30. He is accused of insulting the national flag of Bangladesh at a Hindu community rally. On the other hand, there is anger in the Hindu community of Bangladesh over this action taken against Chinmay Das. Hundreds of people took to the streets at Cheragi Pahad junction in Chittagong. The people demanded his release.
