What did Zafar Ali say?

Masjid Sadar chief and Shahi Masjid Committee chief Zafar Ali were called for questioning by the police. After answering the police’s questions, he said: “They called me and I came. Now I’m going home. They called me for questioning. They asked me about the press conference.” When asked if he stood by his statement, he said the police would say anything he said was wrong. It doesn’t matter what the police say and what they don’t. “It’ll take some time. I’m not feeling very well right now,” he said, avoiding further questions.

After the violence, Zafar Ali had said, “All this happened due to the administration’s insistence on draining water from Waju tank. Sambhal SDM insisted on draining water from Waju tank. DM denied Zafar Ali’s claim

Sambhal DM Dr Rajendra Pensia denied the allegations and said, “Jama Masjid Committee chief Zafar Ali has given a misleading statement. He said he was not informed about the survey. Akhilesh-Tejashwi surrounded the BJP

Tejashwi Yadav blamed the BJP for the violence and said the former deputy chief minister alleged that the incident was aimed at “polarizing the country along communal lines”. He said, “Everything that is happening in Uttar Pradesh is condemnable. We are seeing complete vandalism by the police and administration in the Yogi Adityanath government because they no longer care about the rule of law.” At the same time, Akhilesh said that this incident was done to hide the “tampering and looting.” That This happened in the recent Assembly by-elections. According to Akhilesh, when Sambhal’s Jama Masjid was surveyed for the first time, people cooperated and at that time the officials said that the survey was completed. He asked who ordered the survey for the second time? He said the officers responsible should be suspended and prosecuted for murder.
