Masjid Sadar chief and Shahi Masjid Committee chief Zafar Ali were called for questioning by the police. After answering the police’s questions, he said: “They called me and I came. Akhilesh-Tejashwi surrounded the BJP
Tejashwi Yadav blamed the BJP for the violence and said the former deputy chief minister alleged that the incident was aimed at “polarizing the country along communal lines”. He said, “Everything that is happening in Uttar Pradesh is condemnable. We are seeing complete vandalism by the police and administration in the Yogi Adityanath government because they no longer care about the rule of law.” At the same time, Akhilesh said that this incident was done to hide the “tampering and looting.” That This happened in the recent Assembly by-elections. According to Akhilesh, when Sambhal’s Jama Masjid was surveyed for the first time, people cooperated and at that time the officials said that the survey was completed.
