Israel’s attack on Lebanon continues. Meanwhile, the Israeli military has said it has bombed the Syria-Lebanon border, which was used to smuggle weapons to Hezbollah. The Israeli army carried out airstrikes overnight on the Lebanese-Syrian border. According to the IDF, Hezbollah took advantage of the Syrian-administered Jusiyah crossing, located in the northern Beqaa Valley near the Lebanese city of Qaa, to ship weapons from Syria to Lebanon. The IDF says Hezbollah Unit 4400 was behind the smuggling attempts. Israel has attacked several other crossings between Lebanon and Syria in recent months, amid Iran’s efforts to supply weapons to Hezbollah.
