donald trump
Since his historic victory in the US presidential election, Donald Trump has been making announcements one after another. The latest advertisement is about two countries that are enemies of India. Trump has talked about imposing tariffs on products from China and Canada. He said that after taking power, he will impose a 10% tariff on goods from China and a 25% tariff on goods from Canada. He will sign it immediately after the coronation.
I will sign as soon as I assume the presidency.
Newly elected US President Trump announced this in tweet after tweet on his Truth social media platform. He said his first act after taking office on Jan. 20 would be to sign orders that would impose tariffs on the three countries. Trump has talked about imposing tariffs (25%) on products from China and Canada, in addition to Mexico.
He said everyone knows that thousands of people come to the United States from Mexico and Canada. They are taking crime and drugs here to a level never seen before. It would impose a 25% tariff on all products arriving in the United States from Mexico and Canada.
Decision based on drugs and crime.
While he blamed China, Trump said he spoke with Chinese representatives about this issue. They told me they would give the harshest punishment to any drug dealer caught doing this, but they never followed through. Trump said drugs are coming into our country primarily through Mexico at a level never seen before. I talked several times about the Chinese drug fentanyl but to no avail. We will charge an additional 10 percent tariff on products from China.
