(Mahendragarh News) Mahendragarh. The Department of Law, Central University of Haryana (HKV), Mahendragarh, organized a four-day inter-departmental moot court competition. Fifteen teams participated in the event. Participants demonstrated exceptional advocacy skills in legal debate. The participants were evaluated on the basis of their legal and defense arguments by an eminent panel of judges.
Vice Chancellor of the University Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar said the competition provided students with an opportunity to receive practical legal training and team-based learning. The Vice-Chancellor said this will help enhance the skills needed for future legal professionals. Dean of University Student Welfare Prof. Anand Sharma, while addressing the participants, encouraged them to surpass their limits and strive for excellence in the legal field.
On this occasion, Dr. Pradeep Singh, Head of Department and Dean, Department of Law, said that we are proud to offer our students a platform like Intra-Departmental Moot Court Competition. These events allow them to hone their advocacy skills and legal knowledge. This event reflects the Department’s commitment to encouraging talented legal professionals. In this four-day mock competition, the team of Abhishek, Nirmal and Sayak stood first, the team of Madhukar, Chirag and Shivam stood second and the team of Neeraj, Nakul and Anand stood third. In this sequence, in the individual category, Sayak received the best investigator award, Shahana the best silent and Anurag Ranjan, Shahrukh and Khushi the best silent memorial.
Vice Chancellor of the University Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar presented trophies and certificates to the winners. Program Coordinator Dr. Priya Yadav presented the program report. The program coordinator, Dr. Samiksha, has encouraged students to participate in such events. At the end of the program, Dr. Anju, co-coordinator of the event, expressed her gratitude. On this occasion, Mr. Rakesh Meena, Dr. Jyotsna, Mr. Abhishek, Mr. Praveen Maurya, Ms. Sangeeta and Ms. Vikas were also present.
