The domestic stock market opened on a positive note for the second day in a row on Tuesday. At 9.23 am, the benchmark Sensex of the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) was at the level of 80,415.90 with a rise of 306.05 points, while the Nifty of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) was at the level of 24,322.45 with a gain of 100.55 points. Nifty Bank was also seen trading 146.1 points higher at 52,353.60. Bharti Airtel, ICICI Bank, HUL, Shriram Finance and TCS were the top gainers on the Nifty in the early trading sessions, while ONGC, NTPC, L&T, Trent and Tata Motors were among the losers.
