There are reports of explosions near two nightclubs in Chandigarh in the early hours of Tuesday. It is said that the explosions were carried out with domestically manufactured bombs. The NIA team will reach the spot to investigate the case.
Two unidentified motorcyclists are said to have thrown suspected explosives near two nightclubs located in Sector 26. The suspects carried out the attack around 4am on Tuesday. It is said that they were very low capacity explosions. No one has been injured in this incident.
Sources say these domestically-made bombs were dropped with the intention of extortion. But the police are still investigating the motive for this attack. Chandigarh police are investigating the case with the help of forensic teams.
