An incident of robbery at a jewelery store in Yamunanagar, Haryana has come to light. Late on Monday night, four armed criminals entered the jewelery showroom of Roshanlal & Sons located on Jagadhri Road and openly ransacked it. During this incident, the miscreants threatened the shop owner Chetan and his brother at gunpoint and looted gold jewelery worth lakhs.
Shop owner Chetan said the miscreants had come on bicycles. He parked the bike a short distance away and entered the store on foot. Showing the gun, she opened the store’s safe, broke the glass on the counter, and began filling her purse with jewelry. During this time, people began to gather after hearing the noise outside.
When the miscreants started fleeing, Chetan and his brother chased them. When he protested, the miscreants shot Chetan’s brother. This entire incident has been captured on CCTV. The merchant injured by the bullet has been admitted to the hospital in critical condition.

As soon as information about the incident was received, SP Yamunanagar Rajiv Deswal and other police officials reached the spot. He reviewed security cameras and questioned people. The SP went to the hospital and inquired about the welfare of the injured goldsmith. SP Deswal said police teams are busy searching for the miscreants. He will be arrested soon.
Police say raids are being carried out to nab miscreants. There is an atmosphere of fear in the area due to this incident that occurred in broad daylight. There is panic among the people. Questions are being raised about security measures and how the criminals escaped after committing the crime in a crowded market.
