Criminals caught on camera committing robbery at a jewelry store
Masked armed criminals raided Sachin Jewelers and Sons jewelery store located at Kharik Bazaar of Kharik Police Station area under Navgachia Police District of Bhagalpur District of Bihar and committed robberies worth millions of rupees. The criminals entered the shop by breaking the grill and shutter at the back and stole diamond, gold and silver jewelery worth between Rs 2 and 3 million. The entire robbery incident was captured on the CCTV camera, in which the criminals were seen throwing jewelery boxes from the roof and escaping by jumping over the wall.
He also broke the lock on the safe.
The criminals entered the premises from the roof and covered the CCTV cameras with polyethylene and black paper. They then broke the doors and shutters of the store and, in addition to putting the jewelery in their own pockets, they also broke the lock of the safe. The total value of stolen jewelery in the market is said to be between Rs 3 million and Rs 7 million. Following the incident, the businessman’s health deteriorated and he was taken to hospital for treatment.
“It didn’t keep staff in the store”
The businessman’s son, Piyush Kumar, said his family’s business had been running for the last 24 years and they were not hiring staff. His entire family was deeply shocked by the robbery incident. Information about the incident was provided to SP Puran Kumar Jha and local MP Rajesh Verma, who assured that action would be taken.

Local businessmen claim that this incident occurred due to police negligence. Anand Shah, president of Navgachia Swarnakar Sangh, termed this theft as embarrassing for the police and said the law and order situation is serious. They warned that if the police did not recover the stolen jewelery soon, they would launch a gradual agitation.
Questions about police negligence
The businessmen alleged that the police do not patrol at night, so criminals openly commit robberies and robberies. There has also been a call to keep the market closed until the stolen jewelery is recovered.
