Punjab CM News (Aaj Samaj), Chandigarh: Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann said that Punjab is a rich land as the villages of the state are associated with great gurus, saints and martyrs and have had brave sons who have sacrificed their lives for the country. He said that Punjabis are born entrepreneurs, which is why they have proven their capabilities all over the world. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that Punjabis are hardworking, so they achieve success in all fields. The Chief Minister said that the youth who were forced to go abroad after being disappointed by the poor system of the previous governments are now returning, which is a positive trend of returning home in the state.
The Government created 49,427 jobs in less than three years
The CM said his government has provided government jobs to more than 49,427 youth in less than three years, which is a record in the history of Punjab. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that among those who got these government jobs were some youth returning from abroad. The Chief Minister handed over appointment letters to 1,311 PSPCL youth, making a total of 49,427 government employees recruited so far after assuming power in March 2022.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister congratulated all the youth who got jobs in the government. He said that this is not a favor to the youth of the state, but that they deserve these jobs, but the previous governments never thought about them. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that it is very satisfying that these youth have got jobs based on their full merit.

Jobs are awarded fairly and transparently.
The Chief Minister said that the entire recruitment process has been carried out in a fair and transparent manner. Bhagwant Singh Mann said he took charge in March 2022 and within months, coal supply to backward areas of the state was restored. He said the state has created history by purchasing Goindwal power plant, owned by private company GVK Power.
