CBSE CTET 2024: Every year, more than 20 lakh candidates appear for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET). This year this exam will be held on December 14, 2024. However, if there are more candidates in a city, the exam can also be held on December 15. Currently, applicants have the opportunity to correct errors in the completed form. After this, no application will be considered.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has given an opportunity to make corrections in the application form from today till October 25, 2025. Who had filled the form to appear for the CTET exam. If there is any error in the form completed by the candidate, it can be corrected until October 25. If an error is found later in the form, that candidate may also be prevented from appearing in the exam.
What can happen if there is an error in the CTET form?
If you have made a mistake on the CTET application form and the correction time has passed, it may have the following impact on your exam appearance:
You may be disqualified: Application forms that contain errors and have not been corrected are often declared invalid by exam organizers.
Permission to sit the exam can be obtained: In some cases, the exam organizers may allow you to sit the exam, but you will be responsible for any problems in the future.
The result can be prevented: If your result is affected due to your mistake, your result may be withheld.
What can be edited on the CTET exam form?
During the correction process, applicants can make corrections to name, father’s and mother’s name, category, address, employment status, mobile phone number, education, testing center and language.
How to make the correction?
First of all, go to the official website of CTET ctet.nic.in and click on the Correction Window: CTET Dec-2024 link given on the home page. Now log in by entering the registration number and date of birth. Now make corrections to the form. The correction will be made only once and fees will not be refunded.
