Hisar News: Flights to start soon from Hisar Airport

License is ready, Airport Authority of India can issue it anytime
Domestic flights will begin after obtaining the license.
Hisar News (Aaj Samaj) Hisar: Domestic flights will soon start from Haryana’s only airport located at Hisar. The population of the state will benefit from the start of flights. You can travel to any corner of the country by air. For this, the Airport Authority of India can issue a license at any time. The license is ready. It is yet to be released by the Airports Authority of India. As soon as the license is issued, flights will start from Hisar airport. 44 objections raised at the airport have been removed. The Haryana government has also made arrangements for the fire brigade vehicle, which was the biggest hurdle in getting the licence.

This vehicle has been brought from Cochin airport in Kerala. It is speculated that the flights will start from Hisar airport from 2025. CM Naib Saini himself has confirmed that the flights will start soon. During his arrival in Hisar on Monday, the Chief Minister had said that only the Prime Minister will suspend flights from here. It is noteworthy that Hisar airport was completed a long time ago. But for one reason or another, the work of starting flights from the airport was stopped. Now the government has removed all restrictions. On 1 September 2022, Hisar Airport was renamed Maharaja Agrasen.

First flight to Ayodhya

After the start of flights from Hisar airport, the first flight will depart for Ayodhya, the birthplace of Lord Ram. Apart from this, flights will be started from Hisar to Chandigarh, Ahmedabad, Jaipur and Jammu. In March 2023, the former deputy CM had announced the start of flights from Hisar airport from November 2023. At that time there was a proposal to start flights from Hisar on the routes of Varanasi, Agra, Udaipur, Jaisalmer, Dehradun, Amritsar, Jammu and Kullu.
