Sambhal Violence: Violence broke out on Sunday during the survey of Jama Masjid in Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh, in which four people were killed and around 20 injured by stone-pelting and arson. Police have arrested 25 people in this case. Now a copy of the FIR related to this case has come out, in which many shocking revelations have been made.

According to the FIR, a mob of between 150 and 200 people broke CCTV cameras at Nakhasa Chowk around 12.30 pm on Sunday. Following this, the mob launched a deadly attack on the police with hockey sticks, sticks and stones. The violent mob set fire to the police vehicle. The names of the rioters have also been recorded in the FIR, which include Gulbadin, Sultan, Hasan, Munna s/o Jabbar, Faizan, Samad, etc.

The FIR claims that the masked mob tried to loot police weapons, which included pistols, smog bags, cartridge bags and other equipment. During this, the rioters raised slogans to snatch the police’s weapons. The mob also threatened to kill the police officers and set them on fire. The FIR also states that around 8:45 pm, around 800 to 900 people had gathered near Jama Masjid. After shouting slogans, the crowd suddenly started throwing stones. The police tried to calm the situation, but the situation worsened. Soon, the crowd became violent and tension spread throughout the area.

Case registered against 800 people

We inform that in this case, a case has been registered against 800 unknown persons in the violence and stone-pelting incident, naming SP MP Ziaur Rahman Burke and SP MLA’s son Suhail Iqbal. Apart from this, SDM Ramesh Babu’s leg was fractured and he also filed a case against 800 people. The case was registered following violence near Jama Masjid, in which police and administrative officials were accused of fatal attacks and damage to public property.
