Delhi Crime News (Aaj Samaj), New Delhi: At Okhla police station in the capital, such a case came to light and everyone was shocked to hear about it. Here a husband brutally strangled his wife to death. After this, he remained in the cab of the truck with his wife’s body for five days. When the body was infested with insects and an unpleasant smell began to emanate, he informed the owner of the truck. After which the owner of the truck informed the police and the accused was arrested. When the police arrived at the scene near the cab of the truck, the body was emitting a foul odor. The corpse was rotten and insects were crawling. The police registered the case and sent the body for autopsy.

Giving information about this, Deputy Commissioner of Police Ravi Kumar Singh said that Pradeep and Neetu got married four years ago. This was their second marriage. Neetu lived in Bihar for some time. Pradeep suspected that his wife was having relations with another youth in Bihar. Because of this, there used to be frequent fights between the two.

Neetu had arrived in Delhi only on November 19. After this, Pradeep himself brought her from the railway station. During this time they quarreled again and Pradeep walked out. After this he returned under the influence of alcohol and took Neetu with him in the van. Taking her there, he strangled Neetu to death. The body was stored in the cabin of the truck. He kept the body in the truck and remained there for five days. During this period he continued to use drugs.
When he noticed that the foul smell of dead body had started coming out of the truck, he reported the matter to the owner of his truck. After which he was arrested. Pradeep admitted his crime during interrogation and said that from Neetu’s words, he felt that she was no longer happy with him. He felt that Neetu was having an affair with someone else. That’s why he murdered.
