Karnal Accident News (Aaj Samaj) Karnal: A person riding a bicycle was hit by a car. The Badak cyclist died in the accident. The police arrived at the scene after receiving the information, took possession of the body, performed an autopsy and handed it over to the family members. The police have registered a case against the driver of the car. The matter is being investigated by the police.
In the complaint lodged with the police, the deceased’s brother Dharmendra Singh, a resident of Mahavir Colony, Karnal, said that his brother Sachin used to work as a security officer in a factory near Kutel. Last night he was returning after finishing his work on his bicycle. Around 9 pm, a car collided with Sachin’s bike near Kalpana Chawla gate on Munak Road, about a kilometer and a half from the house. After the impact, the driver fled along with the vehicle. People nearby saw the accident happen. Sachin called the police and informed.
Police registered a case.
The police reached the spot and admitted Sachin to Kalpana Chawla Medical College with the help of an ambulance. It was the police who informed us of the accident. Upon receiving information we also arrived at the hospital. Where Sachin died during treatment. Madhuban police station SHO Gaurav Punia said the police handed over the body to the family members after post-mortem. A case has been registered against the unknown driver.
