The result of UP Police Constable Recruitment 2024 written exam has been declared. A total of 1,74,316 candidates cleared the exam, but after clearing the written exam, the path to becoming a police constable is not easy. This is just a rating. Candidates who pass the exam will have to pass 4 more exams and will get an appointment only after passing them.
The exam was conducted on 23rd, 24th, 25th, 30th and 31st at designated centers across the state. Out of around 48 lakh registered candidates, around 34 lakh candidates appeared in the exam. A total of 60,244 vacant police positions will be filled through this recruitment process. This exam was carried out for the second time. For the first time, the exam was held on February 17 and 18, 2024, but due to a paper leak, the exam was cancelled.
Now you have to pass these 4 exams.
Candidates who pass the written exam will be called for the Physical Standard Test (PST) and Document Verification (DV), which can be organized in the third week of December 2024. After succeeding in this, you will appear in PET, i.e. physical test and medical examination. Only those candidates who are successful in all of these will be selected for the final selection.
When will PST and DV admit card be released?
Candidates to be called for PST and DV by UP Police Recruitment Board. The UP Police Recruitment Board will issue them the admit card. The recruitment board will soon publish the exam schedule on its official website. The board published the PST and PET standards along with the notification. The standards are different for male and female candidates.
What is the standard of PST and PET?
As per the detailed notification issued earlier by the Recruitment Board, for PST, the height of male candidates of General, OBC and SC categories should be 168 cm and that of female candidates should be 160 cm. The height of male candidates in the AC category must be 152 cm and that of female candidates 146 cm. While male candidates must complete the 4.8 kilometer run in 25 minutes and female candidates must complete the 2.4 kilometer run in 14 minutes.
