Raul Gandhi
The Constitution Day was organized at the Parliament House located at Talkatora Stadium, New Delhi. On this occasion, opposition leader Rahul Gandhi was talking about Dalits and the caste census, when the lights went out. After waiting for a while, when the lights came on, Rahul Gandhi said that no matter how hard he tries he won’t be able to silence us, I will say whatever I want to say.
He said that if Narendra Modi ji had read this book of the Constitution, he would not have done what he does every day. It has been given the form of a book, but it is not just a book. The idea of social empowerment of India in the 21st century is contained in this Constitution.
In this you will find the thoughts of great thinkers like Ambedkar, Phule, Vivekananda, Buddha, etc. He asked if it is written in it that violence should be used against anyone. Is this the truth of India to scare anyone and shows the path of non-violence? A few days ago, the distribution census work was started in Telangana. For the first time, Caste Senses became a public exercise. Hundreds of thousands of Dalits and people of all backward classes participated in it. In future, wherever our government reaches, we will conduct a caste census there.
Why the caste census?
Yes India has 15 percent Dalit population, 8 percent tribal and 10 percent minorities. But there is no information about how many people from backward classes are involved in this. He said the backward class could reach up to 50 per cent. He said that if we add them all up, 90 percent of the population comes from these classes.
