Amritsar police achieved success
Amritsar Crime News (Aaj Samaj), Amritsar: As part of the drive being carried out against criminals and drug peddlers in the state, the Amritsar police scored a major success when they arrested two gangsters on the Amritsar-Verka Majitha bypass. Before the arrest, the two gangsters on the bike also fired at the police team while they were trying to escape. In retaliation by the police, a criminal was shot in the leg. After the action, the police have captured the injured criminal along with his other accomplice. The police have also confiscated the bicycle on which the gangsters were traveling.
The gangsters planned to commit the crime.
According to the information, the police had received information that some gangsters were roaming around the Verka Majitha bypass with the intention of committing a crime. Under this, the police team tried to catch the gangsters by chasing them, but finding themselves surrounded, the gangsters started shooting at the police. In response, the police also fired shots. In retaliation, a gangster was wounded by a gunshot. The police surrounded them and caught the two criminals. Currently, the police have shifted the injured to Amritsar’s Guru Nanak Dev Hospital for treatment. After the action, the police commissioner also reached the spot and took note of the entire incident.

Mohali police nabbed a gangster on Monday
The Mohali police succeeded when, acting on information, they arrested the gangsters along with weapons. When the police arrested the gangsters, they were planning to commit some crime. The police are currently interrogating the detained accused to obtain information about their other associates.
Two pistols and 18 cartridges have been recovered from the accused. Police arrested him under the Arms Act. One of the arrested accused has been identified as Gulshan Kumar, a resident of Peer Giri Delhi. ASI Jatinder Pal Gill said that the police received information that Gulshan along with his two associates were roaming around the area with the intention of committing some criminal act. The police nabbed the accused during the search.
