4pm News Network: President Draupadi Murmu on Tuesday (November 26) launched a commemorative coin and a Rs 75 postage stamp in Parliament to mark the 75th anniversary of the adoption of the country’s Constitution. This program was organized in the Central Hall of the Old Parliament. Many great leaders including President Draupadi Murmu, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Opposition Leader Rahul Gandhi were present at this historic event.

We told you that the theme of the program remained ‘Our Constitution, Our Self-Respect’. On this occasion, two books focused on the development of the Constitution and its journey were also published. In such a situation, addressing the joint meeting of both the houses, Draupadi Murmu said that the Constitution is a living and progressive document. The President also released the first Sanskrit copy of the Constitution and its Maithili version.

Furthermore, President Draupadi Murmu reflected on the adoption of the Constitution 75 years ago, calling it a historic moment. He also highlighted the contribution of 15 women members of the Constituent Assembly in the configuration of the country’s founding text. Murmu urged all Indians to imbibe constitutional ideals in their conduct and fulfill their fundamental duties and work towards achieving the national objective of a developed India by the year 2047.
