Thieves carted away ATM full of Rs 10 lakh
Bengaluru: Thieves’ morale is high in Bengaluru, Karnataka. An incident of ATM theft has come to light in Anekal, near Bengaluru. The Canara Bank ATM in Attibele area was robbed by two criminals yesterday after midnight. Both criminals started the ATM, loaded it at a pace and took it away from the bank. When thieves tried to break into the machine in the roadside bushes early on Tuesday, passers-by took notice.
When passers-by became suspicious, both thieves fled in fear. The locals informed the police about the matter. Attibele police arrived at the scene and confiscated the ATM. There was Rs 10 lakh in this machine. Police registered the case and started searching for the ATM robbers.
