Elon Musk’s Starlink satellite internet service will soon launch in India. Previously, Elon Musk introduced a new type of direct sales technology. Through this technology, the user’s mobile phone will connect directly to the satellite. This will not require any specific hardware or software on users’ mobile phones. Through this technology, users will be able to access calling and text messaging services without a SIM card.
Starlink Satellite Internet service is completely different from other service providers and provides ultra-fast Internet access to users with low latency through lower orbit. This direct selling technology will provide better connectivity to users’ devices.
What is direct-to-cell technology?
This is called Advanced Satellite Communication Technology, through which the user’s smartphone is connected via satellite. For satellite communication, mobile phone i.e. cell phone does not require any receiver or terrestrial device. Apart from this, the special thing about this technology is that it does not require any specific hardware or software application on the mobile phone. Users will be able to connect their phones directly to the satellite. Currently this technology test supports messaging and calling. Internet service will also be available soon.
This direct selling technology will write a new chapter in the field of Internet of Things (IoT). This technology will help connect millions of devices to the satellite simultaneously. Partnership with telecommunications operators
To do this, Elon Musk’s Starlink company has partnered with telecommunications operators in many countries around the world so that, along with the existing mobile network, users can also get satellite connectivity. After the availability of direct sales Internet service to users in the coming months, through this technology, users will also get access to Internet at a speed of 250 to 350 Mbps.
